Sleeper, is a photographic documentary of the Uk rail network during the political torment of the rail strikes. Motivated by my relationship to my father and his life-long role at network rail over the last 40 years. The project stands to challenge the discourse shaped by the mass media’s coverage of the railways. By working along side the individuals that are integral in maintaining the vast network of infrastructure, it highlights the humanity and individualism within the mass transport system of the Uk.
